Get ready for another amazing trip with ESN.. this Saturday, September 10th we are heading to Monferrato for an amazing WINE TOUR!
Monferrato is part of the region of Piedmont in northern Italy and also one of the most important wine districts in Italy. The area is rich in history, both in winemaking (many estates date back to the 19th Century) and literary tradition. It hosts numerous castles, medieval villages and wineries
Here is the program:
- Meeting point 7.30 am at Bocconi (Via Sarfatti 25)
- City tour
- Winery tour: Bersano Winery including wine tasting
- Lunch with typical Piedmontese meat and wine (with vegetarian options)
- Approach to horses and wineyard tour
- Departure time 5.30 pm
- Arrival at Bocconi around 7.00 pm
The fee is 60€, including:
- Bus a/r
- Insurance
- City tour (including: visit to the “Tasting Museum”, the technology museum, a photography exposition of Italian and international landscapes, and a visit on the medieval city tower and city hall)
- Winery tour (three wines* and typical snacks, a visit to the wine and agriculture museum and to the production site)
- Local Traditional Lunch with vegetarian options and 1/2 liter of wine per person
